Otherwise, we can keep following water parameters for successful discus keeping- PH: 6 to 10 /Temp: 28 to 34 C / Ammonia: 0ppm

Discus fish are very delicate in nature and very prone to diseases –

This is also wrong. Discus is cichlid group fish which is known as most robust as compare other group. But, if we take poor quality fish then we will always face problem. In many fish firm they used different hormones and medicines during breading and make the fish colorful in their early age and it makes the fish immunity system weak. Discus fish need big aquarium –

Its again another wrong perception. Any size of tank is ok for discus if you can have good filtration.

Discus fish need daily water change –

No. Not required at all until your water quality good and have good filtration. It also depend on your purpose, whether you just want to keep the fish healthy and happy or want to bread or want to grow fast for resale. 50% weekly water change is enough & if can do twice in week it’s great.

Huge cost involvement needed to setup discus tank as Canister filter require –

OOHH!!! Canister filter comes at last choice for discus tank. There are multiple reason. Sponge filter is best for discus tank which is cheapest one. You can also use power filter with some customization.

Discus fish keeping is very time consuming and laborious to maintain –

It is also not fully correct. You should consider Discus fish keeping same as keeping any other per like Dog or Cat or Birds.
